"Galileo" Public Comprehensive School, Jena
We are a comprehensive school with a structured daily and weekly schedule. The goal of our educational work is to foster the children’s joy and curiosity in learning and to support them in discovery-based and exploratory learning.
To this end, we hold a “Galileo Research and Discovery Day” every week. This day is complemented by extracurricular clubs as part of our full-day program.
Numerous partner organizations support us and enrich our daily school life. Individual learning progress is reviewed during learning development meetings, where we focus on the children’s strengths. Grades are assigned starting in 4th grade.
