Jena Public Comprehensive School "Montessori School"
Our full-day school is located on a spacious campus alongside the “polaris” Youth Education and Community Center.
The school’s educational philosophy is based on extended collaborative learning through 8th grade; academic counseling begins only then. Our classroom instruction incorporates elements of the Montessori method. We have many years of experience in integrating children with special needs. We are a school for everyone.
In 2017, the school was named the state winner in the “Starke Schule” competition and became a training school for teacher education. Through Montessori Jena e. V., we collaborate with Montessori daycare centers as well as partners from industry and the trades.
