"Kulturanum" Public Comprehensive School, Jena

"Kulturanum" is a full-day school with a focus on music and the arts, modeled after the Jenaplan.

Classes are held on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays until 4:00 p.m. On Wednesday and Friday afternoons, students can participate in extracurricular clubs. The after-school care center is open from 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. During the “active lunch break,” there are a variety of activities available. In integrated classes, children with and without special educational needs learn together.

We place importance on independent learning, incorporating learning experiences outside of school, collaborating with parents, sharing a healthy breakfast together, and ensuring that every child can learn to play an instrument free of charge. Grades are assigned starting in 8th grade.
