"Leonardo" Independent Full-Day School - Comprehensive School

The LEONARDO School is a mandatory full-day school (8:00 a.m.–3:45 p.m.). This means that homework is largely unnecessary.

Students learn and practice under the guidance of subject teachers. Effective learning is facilitated by a carefully structured daily schedule that allows time for individual guidance (learning how to learn) and assistance with learning difficulties. The Thuringian curriculum serves as the basis.

Class sizes range from 17 to 20 students. Grades are not assigned until the 7th grade. At our school, children with and without special needs, as well as those from immigrant backgrounds, learn together. The program is supplemented by after-school care from 7:00 to 8:00 a.m. and from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m., as well as during school breaks.
