The guiding principle of “learning to live together” shapes instruction and daily school life. An individualized curriculum featuring independent study time and free work—which, in addition to group instruction, focuses on fostering students’ strengths— DaZ instruction (German as a Second Language) at various language levels, a diverse range of elective courses with a strong practical component, French or Spanish as a second foreign language, and a specialized media track enable students from diverse backgrounds and with varying aptitudes to earn all types of high school diplomas.
