1,033 first-year pupils start the new school year 2021/2022

1,033 children from Jena started school on 08.09.2021. This is a consistently high number of new pupils, which has always been just over 1,000 children in recent school years.

The ABC pupils attend 11 elementary school and 11 community schools (state and independent) as well as a special education center. 16 of the 1,033 children from Jena attend various schools in the surrounding area.

All road users are asked to take care and exercise caution - not only, but above all, in the immediate vicinity of the schools. During the first two weeks, police and public order officers will be present in front of the schools and will carry out speed checks, among other things.
