General ruling on the admission procedure at community schools in Jena

From the 2024/2025 school year, the general decree based on Section 15a (8) of the Thuringian School Act will come into force. This contains supplementary regulations on the admission procedure for grades 1 and 5 at the community schools in the city of Jena.

Note from 21.01.2026:
In the opinion of the East Thuringia State Education Authority, the general decree of 23.02.2025 is unlawful or ineffective. It has therefore revoked it by publication in the Thuringian State Gazette (No. 1/2026). At the request of the education authority, we have removed the general ruling from our website.
