Long Night of the Sciences 2024

On this November evening from 18:00 to 24:00, numerous companies, institutes and research facilities invite you to take a look behind the scenes, look over the shoulders of experts and immerse yourself in the cosmos of science.

Stations for experimenting, trying things out, discovering and questioning will be located in the Göschwitz / Jena 21, city center, Beutenberg Campus / Carl-Zeiss-Promenade and Lobeda areas. The opening will take place at 17:00 in Göschwitz in the Jenoptik parking lot and promises lectures, interactive offers, light installations and photo boxes under the motto "Göschwitz ans Licht".

Tickets are available at a reduced price in advance from 16.10.2024 at the Jena Tourist Information, the Unishop of the Friedrich Schiller University Jena, online in the ticket portal or on the day of the event at the box office. The admission wristband entitles you to use Jena's public transport system free of charge throughout the evening and until 03:00 on the following day.

And the best thing about it: Admission is free for everyone up to the age of 16 , all you have to do is get an admission wristband and you can then explore the numerous institutes, companies and laboratories on 22.11.2024 as you please (also including Jena local transport).
