New general ruling on the selection procedure at general education schools

We hereby inform parents about the special selection procedure at the community schools of the city of Jena.

The specific structure is based on a general decree issued by the East Thuringia State Education Authority. This comes into force on 01.05.2026 and specifies the regulations of § 15a para. 1 and 2 of the Thuringian School Act on the selection procedure at general education schools.
