Changes in the Jena school landscape for the new 2019/2020 school year

Jena's school landscape is undergoing changes again this year.

The Thuringian community school "Wenigenjena" will start the new school year in the completed new school building at Jenzigweg 29. The move took place in the last days of the last school year and the teachers and pupils are looking forward to the new start in the long-awaited newly built school building.

A new school has been founded in Jena-Lobeda. The Thuringian community school "Werkstattschule Jena" is starting with first and fifth graders at the school location at Erlanger Alle 151. With the completion of a renovation, the move into the school building at Emil-Wölk-Straße 11 is planned for the course of the school year.
