EU School Fruit and Vegetable Program 2020/2021

The city of Jena has been participating in the program since the 2010/2011 school year; all state primary and community schools are now involved. The schools are supplied exclusively with organically produced fruit and vegetables. In the 2020/2021 school year, more than 3,500 pupils at 17 Jena schools will be provided with a free extra portion of fruit and vegetables twice a week to make healthy eating more appealing.
