State elementary school "Heinrich Heine" Jena
Our focus is on the child, at our school learning is fun! The most important concern is the development of learning skills according to the individual requirements of each child. We use proven and new forms of teaching and teach solid basic skills in reading, writing and arithmetic. Pupils work on projects in learning houses across the year groups.
Lessons are supplemented by additional learning times. English is taught from Year 1 onwards.
Every child can develop freely in the open after-school club and through a wide range of leisure activities. All children are enrolled in our after-school care.
The school is open from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m., lessons start at 7:45 a.m.
