State elementary school "Schule am Rautal" Jena
All children are welcome here. Our school is open from 06:15 to 17:00. We pursue a mathematical and scientific profile.
Our school has received the "Little Scientists' House", "STEM-friendly school" and "Bat-friendly house" awards. There is an internal school experimentation and methods curriculum. English is taught from Year 1 onwards. Pupils have the opportunity to choose from a variety of study groups.
There are cooperation agreements with the Carl-Zeiss-Gymnasium, the Walther Music School, the Bürgerstiftung Lebenswelten, the Ernst Abbe Library, some day-care centers and sports clubs.
