State Community School "An der Trießnitz" Jena
Diversity creates opportunities for individual support and challenge - living and learning together in one building. Here, pupils learn together for longer in inclusive lessons. In 2013, our school was awarded the Jakob Muth Prize by the German UNESCO Commission and the Bertelsmann Foundation.
We learn in small mixed-grade units - the learning houses. By working in a multi-teacher system, we can provide the necessary support and challenge for individuals.
We are an open all-day school with after-school care and leisure activities from 06:30 - 17:00. Sport and a healthy lifestyle accompany us as well as a musical-artistic orientation to find and cultivate interests and hobbies.
