State community school "Lobdeburgschule" Jena
The mission statement "learning to live together" characterizes teaching and everyday school life. Individualized lessons with individual learning time and free work, which, in addition to the common lessons, focus on promoting strengths, DaZ lessons (German as a second language) at various language levels, a wide range of compulsory electives with a high practical component, French or Spanish as a second foreign language and a special media profile enable pupils from different backgrounds and with different talents to achieve all school-leaving qualifications.
In addition to grades from year 4 onwards, pupils' skills are assessed. The school cooperates with extracurricular partners, is active in various networks and maintains international contacts.
