State Community School "Kaleidoskop" Jena
The Kaleidoscope School is pedagogically oriented towards the Jenaplan. Monday morning circle and Friday celebration form the framework for rhythmic lessons geared to the child's learning level. Cross-age learning in core groups, differentiated subject teaching and a high value placed on project learning are the focal points of the educational concept.
In the first six years, pupils and parents receive regular verbal feedback on their learning and development, and from Year 7 onwards, this is supplemented by grades.
In the partially tied all-day school, lessons take place in the afternoon (8:15-14:35/15:30), as well as a wide range of study groups and a variety of activities offered by the after-school care team (6:30 - 17:00).
