"Nordschule" Public Elementary School, Jena
We offer interdisciplinary instruction using both proven and innovative teaching methods, a variety of approaches, project-based learning, and independent work within cooperative and social learning environments. Our students attend school from 8:00 a.m. to 1:35 p.m. Grades are assigned starting in third grade.
Through targeted support and differentiated instruction, we aim to meet the individual needs of each child and nurture their talents and interests. Our school day is complemented by a variety of academic and athletic competitions, celebrations, field trips, hiking days, class trips, and mentoring programs. After school, we offer after-school care until 5:00 p.m. with a wide range of recreational activities.
