"Otto-Schott-Gymnasium" State High School, Jena
We support opportunities for individual growth. Challenging and encouraging students through differentiated instruction—that is the guiding principle we work toward as a team of teachers and school social workers.
We are the only school in Jena to offer an expanded English curriculum in grades 5 and 6. Starting in grade 7, students with a talent for languages can join our bilingual track and experience subjects such as history and geography in both languages.
Students interested in the natural sciences delve deeper into the subject through the interdisciplinary courses of the Natural Sciences Track. Starting in 9th grade, students can enroll in various elective courses, which are supplemented by a diverse range of afternoon activities.
