Registration for class 1 for the 2025/2026 school year

The school registration for first graders for the school year 2025/2026 will take place from 02.05.2024 to 08.05.2024 in Jena.

Please put the following documents together in an envelope and send them to your preferred school either by post or by dropping them in the school letterbox

• the original school registration form already sent to you,
• the completed and signed form "Application to attend a state primary or community school" (see Downloads),
• a copy of the child's birth certificate,
• if applicable, the negative certificate for sole custody and
• if applicable, an informal application for a requested deferral of the school child for medical reasons.
