State elementary school "Saaletalschule" Jena
Our pupils learn from 07:45 to 13:05 in age-homogeneous classes in which children with and without disabilities and pupils with a non-German mother tongue learn together.
The mission statement: We want to increasingly enable our pupils to learn, think and work independently. We want to do justice to the children through many methods and differentiation in the classroom.
By participating in a nationwide reading project (BISS), we support all pupils in the reading learning process. It is censored from the 3rd grade. Afternoon supervision begins immediately after school. Year 1 is run as a group. In the other grades, we practice open after-school care.
