State elementary school "Südschule" Jena
At the smallest state elementary school in the city, the class teachers accompany the children through four years of primary school. Literacy is taught through a systematic reading and writing course. Grades are awarded from grade 3 onwards. Children with disabilities, immigrants and refugees are of course welcome here.
As an open all-day school, we offer a wide range of health-promoting, musical-artistic and scientific-technical activities for the duration of their child's stay at the after-school care center, which the children can choose from depending on their interests. We are certified as a "House of Little Scientists".
