State Vocational School Center Jena-Göschwitz
The Staatliches berufsbildendes Schulzentrum(SBSZ) Jena-Göschwitz is one of the most renowned, modern and best-equipped schools in the Free State of Thuringia.
The school has earned a particularly good reputation in the areas of technical secondary school, vocational grammar school, higher vocational school and technical school, in particular the technical school for ophthalmic optics - the oldest school of its kind in the world. Many of the graduates have gone on to successfully continue their education at a college or university. The SBSZ offers excellent learning conditions in all types of school.
The SBSZ Jena-Göschwitz is also an important partner of industry and the skilled trades in dual training. In the fields of metal, automotive, optics, electronics, chemistry, wood and sanitation, a large number of different training occupations are offered and a high standard of training is guaranteed together with the training companies.
