"UniverSaale" Jena - Independent comprehensive school
Pupils with a wide range of different backgrounds learn at our school.
We have developed learning, course, study and workshop times for subject lessons in order to support the systematic development of key skills such as independence, interaction skills, problem-solving and goal orientation in addition to subject-specific learning. The core school time begins at 7:45 a.m. with arrival in the morning circle and ends at 3 p.m. (2 p.m. on Fridays) after the completion of alternating services.
Supervision is guaranteed between 7 am and 4 pm. We only issue numerical grades from year 9 onwards. We write detailed, individual report cards and hold regular discussions with pupils and parents.
