"Workshop School Jena"
Many young people lack a connection to "real life" in their school life. It is not clear enough to them what they can use what they learn for later on. The Werkstattschule Jena offers a high proportion of practice-oriented learning environments and practical learning opportunities with the aim of showing pupils a wide range of opportunities for practical orientation and enabling them to discover and develop their own skills.
To achieve this goal, we are developing strong partnerships with the skilled trades, industry and the social economy. The significance of the learning content becomes apparent when a connection to practice is established from the outset, can be experienced and becomes the subject of reflection in school.
